7-star luxury hotel in Ceará
The state of Ceará claims they will have the next 7-star hotel built.
The construction of a 7-star hotel to be built was confirmed by investors from General Mediterranean Holding (GMH) and the Governor of the state of Ceará. The construction is set to start the first quarter of 2017. The coastal city who will reside the new property will be announced in August 2016.
According to information given by the Government of Ceará the Lebanese investors asked for a 100 hectares’ area with reasonable access to the airport. The investment is very important for the region and for Brazil in general. Fortaleza and Ceará in general lacks high quality properties like these ones. Three places were visited by the group, Aracati, Cascavel and Cruz and three more has been presented as options.
The investment calculated to approximately R$ 400 million / USD 123 million should generate around 700 to 800 direct job opportunities during the construction and will lead to approximately 1500 direct jobs and another 1000 indirect jobs when the hotel in in full functionality. Part from the hotel the group pretends to build 1500 homes for staff with schools in the proximity.
The hotel will be a huge change for the region where it will be built provoking a new infrastructure with Jobs and new opportunities.
The project expects to build a marine port for yachts, beauty center, sports center, English pub, Spa with swimming pools, discotheque and a water park among many other features. The hotel will offer 300 beds and a convention center with room for 1500 participants and the latest technology. The complex will offer 200 apartment 25 luxury Villas, shopping center and restaurants.
